The All-Mountain World

If you are looking for some new skis this year this link will help you out!

All Mountain Review

The skis on that list that I know about are the Mantra, great ski but can be a tough ski to ski.

The Nordica Hell and Back, I road the old version (The Enforcer) and it turned like a GS ski and smashed through powder. Good pick.

The Blizzard skis are something I would say go out and try, in the past couple of years Blizzard has come out with some awesome products and they continue to just improve their product... Keep an eye on this company.

The Salomon Twenty-twelve is new for this year and I heard it is suppose to be Salomon's ski that can compete with the Mantra. I haven't skied it, but if you are looking for an easier going ski than the Mantra I would go with it.

Still my pick would be the Mantra for an All-Mountain ski, and if you want only one ski in your arsenal this is the ski for you. Ski to consider if you are an aggressive skier, Volkl Katana, K2 Kung Fujas, Blizzard Cochise, and several others on this list. Get at me if you have any questions.

What made our ski testers clamor for the Volkl Mantra? Why were they calling it, “flawless at speed; a great all-around ski; and certified hot!”? Well, start with a Sensorwood core, a vertically laminated poplar and beech wood that makes the ski unbelievably light, durable and energetic. Wrap that core in a torsion box with vertical sidewall construction, and the Mantra becomes stable and responsive. Add a touch of early rise in the tips, and it becomes nimble and efficient in any conditions. Altogether, the Mantra is the highest-rated men’s all-mountain ski in this year’s test.
